After a long career within policy, lobbying, strategy, organizational development and as a trusted advisor to top-management, I became a mother - and discovered a huge need to improve the way parental leave is managed, talked and thought about, and handled in the workplaces. 


Becoming a parent can no longer be a barrier for a carreer. In fact, we need to fully understand the value that parental leave can create at work places, and the connection with other strategic areas like the DE&I and ESG-agenda, retention and recruitment of talent or simply as a stepping stone for more inclusive leadership.


In short, being strategic about your parental leave will save you money and make your employees happier - and will work as the perfect starting point if you are serious about DE&I and ESG.
